Traitly integrates with your existing chat and knowledge base software tools. Your chat widget can easily be connected with Traitly to have both a chat, the onboarding checklist and the knowledge base inside all inside the same widget. This means that the users can easily click on the widget and switch between the onboarding checklist, your chat widget (for example, Intercom) and search for your knowledge base for answers to commonly-asked questions. The following text guides you step-by-step of how to connect.
First, you need to log in to your account on Traitly.com. Once done so, you will need to click on "Link chat widget" on the left hand side of the page as shown in the image below, which will bring you to a page showing the various platforms you can integrate with.
A page will appear showing your existing applications. Suppose you wish to connect your Intercom account. Click on that application and select if you wish to connect the chat, knowledge base or both.
To connect your chat, you need to locate and insert your App ID. Next, insert your knowledge base platform's url (see image below). Click "Continue" and you are all set.
The widget will then appear similar to the image below. The blue-colored section is how the onboarding checklist will appear. Click on the round Intercom tab at the bottom, and the chat will appear in its place instead (see the right hand side of the image).
